Bilston Swimming Club Mini Club
We are incredibly proud of our Mini Club, which provides high-quality swimming lessons for children aged 5 to 11 years. We also welcome 4-year-olds following a successful initial assessment.
Our lessons follow the Swim England Learn to Swim Framework, helping children build confidence, develop excellent technique, and progress through each stage of their swimming journey.
Lesson Times
Sundays: 40-minute lessons (afternoon)
Mondays: 30-minute lessons (evening)
Location: Darlaston Leisure Centre Swimming Pool, WV10 8AP
Once children have completed the Learn to Swim Framework (approximately equivalent to Swim England/ASA Stages 6–7), they have the opportunity to progress into Bilston Swimming Club's Junior Development Squad, training in a 25-metre pool, should they wish to pursue competitive swimming.
Our experienced teachers all come from competitive swimming backgrounds, allowing them to share their knowledge and expertise while ensuring every child develops strong technique across all four strokes. Beginner classes are taught by two teachers in the water, providing extra support and confidence for young swimmers.
Our swim school offers the perfect pathway from learning to swim through to competitive swimming in a fun, safe, and encouraging environment.
Places are limited, so we recommend enquiring early to avoid disappointment.
